Reach Island 4 and start the bird quest

Speak with the Island 4 NPC who warns you about the large bird. The encounter is a two-target chain: catch Tuna first, then use the Tuna body as bait for the aerial boss.

Catch Tuna with the Professional Boss Lure

    Prepare before buying or using the lure

    Equip reliable damage, carry healing, and leave enough inventory room for the Tuna body and later quest trophy.

    Use the Professional Boss Lure

    Fish from Island 4 with the boss-tier lure tied to Tuna. Earlier standard lure tiers do not replace this step.

    Defeat the Tuna mini-boss

    Finish the catch encounter and keep the Tuna body. It is the trigger for the bird, not a drop to sell or eat.

    Place the Tuna on dry ground

    Move near your chosen cover and put the Tuna body on land. The Terrorizing Bird arrives from the air.

Bring range and choose a building

Long-range weapon

A Sniper Rifle offers measured shots at the airborne target, while an accurate automatic weapon can also work. Avoid relying on short-range spread.

Solid cover

The shop, casino, or another building can block or shelter you from the bird's committed attacks.

Clear sky view

Choose a doorway or building edge where you can see the approach without chasing the bird across the island.

Healing and reload plan

Recover and reload after an attack pass while the bird opens distance—not when it is already diving.

04 · Summon

Place the Tuna beside your cover position

Set the Tuna on open, dry ground close enough to a building that you can reach safety immediately. Keep the bait area and sky in view, but do not stand directly over the Tuna once the boss arrives.

How to beat the Terrorizing Bird

    Stay near cover

    Do not chase the Albatross around the island. Let it return to your established firing lane.

    Read the aerial approach

    When the bird commits to a dive, grab, or projectile pass, move inside or behind the building instead of trading damage.

  3. 3

    Wait for the attack to finish

    Use sound and line of sight to confirm that the pass is over before stepping back into the open.

  4. 4

    Take one controlled damage window

    Fire as the bird climbs away, turns, or completes its projectile run. Prioritize accurate hits over a long exposed burst.

    Reload behind cover

    Reset inside the building, then repeat the attack → shelter → shoot rhythm until the boss falls.

Why the bird fight keeps failing

The bird never appears

Confirm that you caught Tuna with the Professional Boss Lure and placed the Tuna body on dry ground.

Projectiles keep hitting

Move fully inside the building during the attack instead of stopping at an exposed doorway.

Shots keep missing

Wait for the end of a pass and use a controllable long-range weapon rather than firing continuously at maximum distance.

You lose sight of the boss

Hold one cover position with a clear sky view. Chasing the bird sacrifices the safe firing lane.

Return the Albatross Head

After the boss dies, collect the named bird Head before leaving. Return it to the Island 4 quest giver and complete the hand-in to receive the coordinates for the Military / Volcano stage.
