Complete the Island 4 bird chain

The final island route remains locked until the Tuna and Terrorizing Bird quest has been completed in order.

The successful Head hand-in rewards the coordinates for the final military and volcano stage. Wait for the quest interaction to finish before leaving Island 4.

Why the Volcano route is missing

The bird never spawned

Confirm that the defeated Tuna body was placed on dry ground on Island 4.

The bird is dead, but nothing changed

Collect the named Albatross Head and keep it separate from ordinary drops.

The NPC does not advance

Return to the correct Island 4 quest giver and continue the dialogue until the trophy is accepted.

The Radar is unchanged

Retrace the sequence: Tuna → Terrorizing Bird → Albatross Head → NPC hand-in → coordinates.

06 · After arrival

Start the Scientist's Whale experiment

Find the Scientist wearing yellow hazmat gear. The current main route continues through these steps:

    Catch five native Volcano fish

    Use the regular Scientific Lure and give the Scientist five local catches. Do not confuse it with the separate boss-tier lure.

  2. 2

    Receive the Fish Bucket

    Completing the five-fish request rewards the bait used to summon the regular Bowhead Whale.

  3. 3

    Defeat and keep the Bowhead Whale

    Use the Fish Bucket, defeat the Whale, and store its body instead of selling it.

  4. 4

    Carry the Whale to the crater

    Climb the volcano route and throw the Bowhead Whale body into the crater to trigger the final Mutated Bowhead Whale encounter.

Are Volcano, Military Area, and Island 5 the same stage?

Current guides use all three names for the final island stage containing the military base, volcano, and Scientist questline.

How many Volcano fish does the Scientist need?

The current main route requires five native catches using the regular Scientific Lure.

What does the Fish Bucket summon?

It summons the regular Bowhead Whale. Keep the defeated Whale body and take it to the volcano crater to trigger the mutated final boss.
