How Drip creatures work
A Drip creature is a rare variant of a normal entry. It uses the same rod, lure, or special trigger as the base creature, so there is no separate Drip lure. Repeat the correct encounter until the variant appears, defeat it, and confirm the entry in the Tab encyclopedia.

Identify whether the blank belongs to an ordinary creature, special encounter, or Drip variant.

Equip the correct rod and lure rather than defaulting to the most expensive option.

Collection achievements cover more than rod-caught fish, including roaming creatures and bosses.

Current guides map it to Blobfish, Oarfish, Anglerfish, Stonefish, and Superdwarf Fish in the final regular tier.
Should I sell Tuna or the Bowhead Whale?
Not while their quest chains are active: Tuna summons the Terrorizing Bird, and the Bowhead Whale body is used in the Volcano experiment.
