Complete the Island 2 boss chain

Island 3 is gated by story progression rather than exploration alone. The full chain must be complete before the new route appears:

    Find the ground pickups in the Island 2 forest and hand them to the quest giver.

    Use the Modified Leech

    Use the special quest bait to summon the Giant Piranha from the Island 2 lake.

  3. 3

    Defeat the boss

    Beat the Giant Piranha before its encounter timer expires and secure its progression drop.

02 · Quest hand-in

Pick up the Giant Piranha Skeleton

After the boss dies, collect the Giant Piranha Skeleton before sorting ordinary drops or leaving. The kill itself does not unlock Island 3—the Skeleton is the quest item that proves the boss step is complete.

03 · Coordinates

Return to the Island 2 quest giver

Take the Skeleton back to the woman associated with the earlier Leech request. Complete the hand-in and continue the dialogue until you receive the Flash Drive with coordinates for Island 3.

Do not sail away until the coordinate item is accepted and the new destination is registered.

Use the Radar to find Island 3

    Return to your boat

    Once the Flash Drive is in your inventory and the dialogue is complete, head back to the boat.

    Open the Radar

    Confirm that a new route or marker has appeared. This is better evidence than sailing in a direction copied from another save or patch.

    Follow the registered marker

    Steer toward the new destination and keep checking the Radar as you travel.

  4. 4

    Confirm the desert island

    Island 3 is the desert area that begins the next quest and Pufferfish progression sequence.

05 · Troubleshooting

Why Island 3 is not showing

Boss is still alive

The route cannot register until the Giant Piranha encounter has been completed.

Boss is dead, quest is stuck

Return to the drop area and confirm that you collected the named Skeleton rather than ordinary meat.

Skeleton was handed in

Continue the NPC dialogue and make sure you actually receive the Flash Drive containing the coordinates.

Radar is unchanged

Retrace the chain in order: boss defeated → Skeleton collected → NPC hand-in → Flash Drive received.

Island 3 introduces the desert questline. Explore the settlement, prepare stronger gear if needed, and locate the NPC chain that eventually supplies the bait for the Pufferfish boss.
